About
About Rafael’s Lab
So you’ve stumbled into my little corner of the internet. Welcome! Stay awhile and listen. This is where I tinker for fun: tech adventures, questionable experiments, and the occasional surprisingly coherent thought.
Some of my mishaps might be featured on places like Hackaday!
This Site
This site runs on Hugo. The theme is a fork of the xterm theme with a few stylistic cues borrowed under the cover of darkness from Night Owl.
About Me
I’m a software engineer with an affinity for architecture, metrics, and evaluation. Off the clock, I’m also a collector of classic computers and games, a homelabber, music maker, sporadic YouTuber, and game developer.
My solo-developed game “Open Day” even won “2nd Best Israeli Game of All Time” in YB’s Game Awards, which is either deeply impressive or hilariously specific, depending on your perspective..!
Some things I like:
- Making computers do cool things
- That satisfying feeling when I understand a problem completely
- Finding a really interesting sound in FL Studio
- Cheesecake.
